A native Texan, I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. I moved to Austin in 1995 and haven't left since. I attended Southwest Texas College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1999.
For a few years after college, I tended bar on 6th, the thought of being a lawyer sat in the back of my mind. I met Lisa, my wife, and when thinking of my future family, I decided to attend law school. I took the LSAT, scored high enough to get into law school, and continued to bartend at the Mean Eyed Cat while earning my JD. I graduated from the South Texas College of Law in May 2007 with my Juris Doctor degree. Our first daughter was born in November of 2007, the same day I received my bar card.
I began working at a mid-sized firm alongside other attorneys for a little less than a year, but I was not happy. The caseload I was given was so large that it did not allow me to develop a relationship with each client. Not feeling comfortable with showing up to court without knowing my client on a personal basis, I decided to leave to work on my own. I started ACH Law, PLLC which has been around since 2008.
My mission is to deliver a passionate representation true to who my clients are. I value trust, respect, justice, and excellence.
